For Sons of the Forest, a fifth large patch adding a sleigh from logs, growing trees and much more
Endnight Games released the fifth large patch for its sandbox to survive Sons of the Forest, adding new content, as well as improving and correcting errors.
In this patch, 2 sleds from logs, a new advanced way of cooking, the possibility of growing trees, the ability to play a guitar, a new bay with sailboats, many details of the world and improvements to the environment and much more are added.
Here’s a new one added:
- The possibility of building basic and advanced sledges from logs
- Trees growth (by default is on) with a 10% chance of random growth during sleep
- Founding pots for cooking and a new improved cooking system
- Now you can add a tarp to log structures
- Added 2 new videos found
- Added location with sailing boats thrown ashore
- 79 new ponds and 34 new lakes were added to the map
- Now you can play the guitar
- Added Timmy’s mutated hand in the scene of the battle with the demon
- Added a new wearable clothing item
- Kelvin’s new teams were added to dump traps, filling with logs and filling dry racks with fish

Kelvin does not need to run to the base by collecting logs, you can just assemble in a sled, throw a cable from a sled to the base and quickly cross the logs. Earlier I put several logs of logs, then when the trees ended in disassembled them. Now the trees are versed and the warehouse (sled) can be moved simply. Without warehouses in remoteness from the base, Kelvin should run further than the logs if all warehouses are based.
