Ghostrunner 2 publisher invests 590 thousand euros in support of the game after its release
The first Ghostrunner – a dynamic first -person shooter in which Parkur plays the first violin – turned out to be very successful, so it is not surprising that it was decided to release the continuation. The Polish Studio One More Level plans to develop the game after the premiere with numerous additions. 505 Games, the publisher of the game, decided to spend 590,000 euros on this, or about 60 million. English rubles.
According to Shimon Bryla, the head of One More Level, an agreement signed between the Polish studio and the Italian publisher, is designed for the year of post-release support Ghostrunner 2:
We know what a huge potential is laid down in Ghostrunner 2, so we are very happy to decide to extend our cooperation with 505 Games. We are pleased that the publisher recognizes the possibilities of our team and project, to which we have given all our hearts in recent years. Additional support after the release of the game will be aimed at creating a unique game and cosmetic content – both paid and free – so that players can enjoy Ghostrunner 2 even longer. The conclusion of an additional agreement added to us winds to the wings, which will benefit not only us, but, most importantly, to the fans of our games.
We do not know what kind of content we are talking about, but you can count, among other things, on a large plot expansion. The first Ghostrunner received it more than a year after the release. Small paid extensions will probably be added to "Two" New weapons (something like Halloween Pack or Winter Pack for the first part). As for post-relief updates (free), they may add new modes or tests to the game.
Recall that the Ghostrunner 2 will be released on the consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X/S and PC this year. The exact release date is unknown, but it is known that the levels in relation to "one" will be more worked out, and among new opportunities there will be sections on motorcycles.
