A new multi -user regime, inspired by Roguelike: military games and the plot arch will appear in Homeworld 3
BlackBird Interactive and Gearbox Publishing demonstrated the Military Games mode Homeworld 3, and also presented a completely new strategic experience of a joint game, offering new trials, the depth of the pillion and an extended possibility of repeated passage.
Homeworld 3, the upcoming part of the legendary awards of a series of science fiction strategies, which will be released in February 2024, this week at Gamescom 2023 introduced its new multiplayer regime inspired by a pod. The regime adds a completely new strategic experience of a joint game that goes beyond the longery campaign due to the creative use of gaming mechanics, reminiscent of a pungent.
The new mode “Military Games” in Homeworld 3 offers players a re -playable strategy in real time, which goes beyond the campaign. Combining the Homeworld RTS Himplel with elements of the pants, you can play alone in the Military Games alone or together with three players. Players will choose the starting fleet, and then they will command it by performing a series of three random combat tests. Commanders who successfully manage their fleet and achieve their goals are awarded with artifacts that can be used to strengthen ships. Players will also earn experience to unlock additional artifacts and starting fleets, which will test even more relevant. The regime will continue to develop even after launch due to additional extensions of premium content.
BlackBird Interactive and Gearbox Publishing also announced plans to create mods for Homeworld 3 and partnership with MOD.Io. When starting, the players will be equipped with tools to configure ships and create their own levels for the Skirmish mode in the Unreal game editor, including the placement of megalites, resources and other objects to create completely unique fields of battles, which can then be divided with the community.
Thanks to this partnership with MOD.IO will be available carefully selected content that allows you to easily study the creations of the community. Both the Epic Games Store and Steam players will be able to find and upload new creations of communities, without even leaving the game client Homeworld 3.
